Reprisal's Trugrit Stand Out "Stan"

Looking for a best friend? This handsome boy is, too!
Stan is available for placement to a loving companion home only.

Stan is the result of an outcross breeding of our red girl, Sprague (Reprisal's Street Walker) to Al & Diane Batchelor's stunning fawn male, Rudy (Ch TruGrit's Rudy G Of Anthracite). Rudy had all the virtues that would complement Sprague. You can see more of Rudy and the consistency of the Batchelor's Tru Grit program by visiting their website: www.trugritbullmastiffs.com

From this breeding came a very consistent litter of outstanding puppies. Stan was one of them. He is extremely balanced, with correct shoulder angulation which matches a well muscled rear; has a short back with level topline and presents a pleasing body depth from chest to flank! "Form follows function" and this boy clearly demonstrates such! Stan covers ground with eye pleasing fluidity; he has an impressive topline that doesn't break, even while in full stride!

Stan is a confident dog who shows enthusiasm and interest in any activity. At 2 years old, Stan has now begun to exhibit the treasured instinct of astute and discriminate watchdog behaviour.  There is no  doubt in our minds that Stan would capture an intruder in half a second if he felt the need to.

Some of Stan's accomplishments are as follows:
At the tender age of 8 months old, he took major points at the 2007 Cascade Northwest Bullmastiff Club's Rose City Classic Winter Specialty. At 12 months old, he went Best Of Breed out of classes, and at 13 months old he won his second major.

When Stan was a very young puppy, he got his teeth caught in the portable exercise pen. With much difficulty, we managed to get his teeth unhooked from the fence wire. It became apparent that in the struggle to free him, his lower jaw was damaged and the growth pattern, disturbed. As he matured, the jaw grew unevenly at the spot where he was pulled free of the fence. He is no longer being shown because of this bite. Human nature might assume it, but rest assured HE IS NOT WRY.

He is being placed because we breeders can't keep them all - Stan deserves to be in a family home (with one on one attention) who will love him for all he has to offer. Interested parties must be willing to meet AND pick him up, in person.  Inquiries are welcome to contact us for more information.
